Japan is known as the global economic power, the third largest in the world (after the U.S. and China). Its aging population of 127 million makes the country the 10th largest (2017 est.). Over one million Japanese are living overseas. Japan remains a dominant force in the world. In 2018, the Japanese passport became the most powerful in the world, enabling its nationals a visa-free entry into 190 countries of the world. Japanese people can go anywhere in the world!
There are some vibrant churches in the country, but the number of Christians remains so small (less than 1%) that the nation remains unreached.
The following ministries are resources for evangelism and discipleship. They are independent and not affiliated with Acts 8 Ministries.
